Bullet Dimensions

While we strive to make all of our moulds to the exact specifications shown, it should be noted that machining tolerances, temperature, alloy choice, and a number of other factors will all cause variation in the size of the finished product when casting.    Moulds are cut to produce bullets of the nominal dimensions using Wheel Weight alloy (95.5% Lead, .5% Tin, 4% Antimony).  We cast with the first mould from every run.   Our target size is + .0005 / -.0000 (inch).   Cavities may be  up to .0020 (inch) larger or smaller than nominal dimensions depending on the technique, temperature,  and alloy used.
