Ok, found a good deal on the barrel and took the plunge.  I got a hold of a round that I disassembled.  I drew up this bullet based on what I saw and then modified it to how I think I'd like the bullet.  Feedback is appreciated:

New store is live.

When is the new store going live?

I've got gift cards here, itching to return to the place from whence they came.

Give Al a call and he can get it sorted with you.

Let me know if this isn't the proper topic to which to post and I'll move it as necessary

I read the instructions for the group buys (one has to purchase the mould before they are counted as being queued on the "I want" list) and I bought the 502-458 but I have a question about my 1K club code. It seems there was nowhere to enter it (any place there was input for a coupon or gift card either did nothing or complained it was not valid) and when I completed the purchase, where I thought it might deduct my 10% from the price, it seems to have taken the entire amount. What's a little confusing is that it seems to have been discounted on my purchase of the 357-190 a few days earlier. Maybe I should have tried logging out then back in before I made the actual purchase?

Forum Questions / Problems / Re: teflon coated sprue plate?
« on: January 24, 2020, 08:47:24 AM »
I have a few molds with the teflon sprue plate and it is nice.  The sprue falls right off the plate and the teflon seems to take the heat just fine.  You also don't have to worry about lubing the underside of the sprue plate when casting, just a tad of lube on the hinge and that's all.

There was a thread on CastBoolit forum that was discussing a Teflon plated sprue plate....is something like that in development? If so, when can we expect a product review? Such as cost, and as a replacement for moulds we already have or only on new mould purchases? Seems like CB forum was excited....hope there is something to it.

If you have dimensions, I can draw it up.  Or if you want to send in some samples.
Hoping to find interest in a clone of the Lee 476-400-RF (400 grain flat nose)
designed for the 480 Ruger & 475 Linebaugh?

Offerings of plain base, gas check, hollow point options and cast at .477

I’m new to bullet casting and wonder if the bullet meplat could be wider.

Feedback appreciated

Mr. Bisley
