: Ranch Dog TLC313-115rf

After looking at the 45acp and 359-175 post it got me wondering if there would be any interest in a .32 cal bullet. I think, besides the 32/20 it's designed for, this would be great for 32 H&R mag, 327Mag and light fast rounds in 30/30 when sized .311. It also might possibly work in the M1 Carbine.

Do you think it would feed in a M1 .30 Carbine? If so I want one...

I like the idea of a 32 specific to the 32 H&R magnum et al but the saami spec for the H&R magnum is .315. Perhaps there could be two offerings,  a .313 and a .315? .315 is also the designation for the "S&W series" : 32 S&W short, 32 S&W long and 32 S&W long wadcutter.
However  I would certainly procure a mould as described in the url in the first post.

I would gladly like to see this mold in .315 & .311. I shoot a 30 Reece which is 38 Special case necked down to 30 caliber.

I would gladly buy a 4 cavity .311 version of this mold.

With the lee soupcan clone bullet being in a group buy: http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index.php/topic,1889.0.html (http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index.php/topic,1889.0.html) , is there still interest in the RD 115gr bullet?

Would be interested in this mold over the current "soupcan" clone. Like the wider meplat on the RD bullet. .315 size

any others who would be interested in this bullet?

I would like one for 327.

I would love this one with a plain base.  Even knocking the weight back to 100 grains would be nice to bridge between 32 S&W Long and 32 H&R Magnum applications.

Having a tumble lube design that could be used in all my .32 revolvers would be a real blessing.

My 327 SP-101 loves cast bullets in the 115 grain range.  I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Scratch that.  The 327 is gone.

I'm still interested. Hope we can get this one going!!

I am still interested as well.  I hope we can make this go forward.

Ok, so of the users who still want this bullet, what diameter do you need it in?  I don't think Al wants to run just a couple of molds in 3 different diameters, so if we can see which diameters people want most, it would be the best.

Well, for me at least, it kinda depends on what our options are.

If we are only doing one size I'd like .313 or .314, that way I can size down to .311 for 30/30 easily, but still size .313 for my 32-20 and bump up and size to .314 with powder coat for my 32S&W-L & 32h&r.

If two size options, I say do .311 and .314.

If we are dropping the weight down to 100gr as mentioned by others, let's make it .314. I don't really have a use for that light of bullet in 30/30, 30carbine or 32-20, so I'd have no need to try and size it down.

Just my thoughts, anybody else have an idea?

I would be good with a .314 size as well.

: KdawgHusker July 14, 2017, 10:37:01 PM
I'd be good with 115gr in .313 or .314

I think I'd prefer mine in .314, but I'd be happy with .313 if that what's its going to be. Makes no real difference to me.
Let's get this going before I spend my funds on one of the others buys running here. Lol

Any chance of getting this one going??

.314 would work well for me - I'd think either 4 or 5 cavity.

How many people would be interested if we do a .314 diameter?

Me!!

.314 would be good for a few of my surplus rifles too.  I'm in.

A 0.315"-0.316" option would be better. Easily sized down to 0.314 but still big enough for a variety of older guns. 0.314" just wouldn't cut it for most of my 303 rifles for instance.

: dreg January 10, 2019, 06:54:30 AM
I'd like to keep this at .314 to be used as-cast for revolvers (and a couple mosin nagants, maybe others) or sized to .310-.311 for plinking with various 30-caliber rifles and a tokarev pistol.  Primarily for handgun use in my case but the versatility should be fun to play around with.

If this is ran. Is it going to be solid only or with HP options available?

0.314" wouldn't work in any of my Mosins or Sakos even. These short bullets need to be throat fillers in such rifles.

I’m fine with .313, .314 or .315. Let’s just get this one going! Any of those a sizes will work for my applications. My single-6 32 H&R, 32/20s are begging me for it lol.

I would like to see this one get off the ground as well.  Count me in.  As long as I can size down to .314, I'm good with the final design size.
