Will see what we can do but not at this time – I don’t have the man power or the time myself
I can't keep up with production as it is - Sorry needed in the shop more than the website

Working 14 to 15 hours a day 7 days a week - If this is a problem we can shut down the form until
we get a handle on production

We are going to get through this but it's going to take some time - production and getting
a handle on the back orders is my top priority!!

Group Buy Discussions / New web site and group buys - please read!
« on: January 28, 2020, 03:51:41 PM »
At this time we are going to put all group buys on hold.

We will either be closing all group buys or reverting back to doing them as we have in the past.
We will be sending out refunds to those of you that have placed orders through the website
and removing the option from the store.

Generally what happens is if we start with a tapered shank by the time we finish cutting so the gas check is a thumb press fit it is a straight shank.

As soon as you all decide on the diameter you want I will put up a drawing as to what we can do.
But two different gas check shanks is totally out of the question.

I would have to burn up three or four form tools just to make a .002" or .003 difference in the shank.
Not worth the $800.00 to $900.00 to make something that most cant even measure.

LAST CALL / Re: NOE-225-57 & NOE-228-57 (11)
« on: November 06, 2019, 04:33:06 PM »
OK we have a communication problem.
The 225 drawing shows a nose dim. .218 tapering to .216
When we cut the .228 the nose will have to grow the same as the bands
So it will come out .221 tapering to .219.
I'm sorry I didn't catch it sooner.

Is this OK with every one?

Received this in my e-mail - passing it on.

Evening Al,

I just ran the Quick Load data regarding 5744 powder identification in the 350 legend factory cases.
Loading SGT York’s measured factory bullet intel, and putting in the 5744 powder intel yields the attached load prediction. Quick Load comes back with a very unsafe load combination with around 80,000 psi predicted for an ~ 62,300 max psi cartridge.

I have attached said Quick Load data prediction scan for you to look at. I’ve checked the data twice, and I don’t believe that I have made an error in the information inputs taken from the 350 Legend forum topic.
26 or 26.3 Gr of 5744 does indeed come back as a 110% compressed load. While the powder may look and measure similar to 5744 in size etc… It is my current belief at this point in the game that if someone takes the latest forum load data note as gospel, and loads that combination…  the results just might not be good.

Thought that I had possibly better say something… Is there a way to contact Federal, and actually confirm the actual powder or at least the burn rate on the powder compared to 5744 that they are using…?

At this point I would rather possibly somehow be wrong, and proven so than say nothing and have something happen.

Thanks
Mike B.

As always use listed load data at your own risk!
Always start with reduced loads.
