Thanks for the link, Al.  I really need to just get my own copy of Quickload one of these days.

Thanks for the update.  Is the old NOE mould data that got taken down gone for good?  Or does Al have plans to put it up on his new website?

Not a problem, we should note, though,  that with cast bullets seating depth is more important than exact weight as far as pressure goes.   That is to say, don't get hung up on what your alloy makes a bullet weigh, what matters is how much of the case it is filling.

U.S. current (older alloy was harder) clipon wheel weights average 3% Antimony, .5% Tin and .25% Arsenic, balance lead.  Source:  bumpo628's alloy calculator available at http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?105952-Lead-alloy-calculators.

Thumper,

Coincidentally I was just looking for some data to refer to someone else and noticed the disappearance.  I hope this project hasn't been scrapped.  Could be it was moved or is being updated somehow.  I have a couple of the data sheets for .300 BO on my phone I can email you if you pm me your address.

Any news on this?

Looks good to me.   Definately in.

The stock guide on the 4-20 is horrible, so I am interested.  Would this be a shelf attached to the two front-supports, or is this some different idea?   And I totally agree it should have a groove for RG moulds.

So no one has heard from RanchDog/Michael lately? Any one have his contact info that can do a health and welfare check on him? Just a little worried as he normally isn't absent for this long.

As far as I remember, he is taking the winter off for hunting season(s).  I thought he had such posted to this thread, but I was unable to find him saying so recently.

gwpercle, here is a quick rundown of how to use Ranchdog's data site.  When you get to the main page, you should see some links on the upper-left side.  The most important ones are "NOE", "RDO", and "archive".  The .41 cal you ask about is in the archive (sheets generated before Al updated the mould designations).  Click "archive" then "PDF" then "40" (contains data for all calibers from 40 to less than 50).  The RDO area works similarly to the archive section and contains mainly Ranchdog designs.

As yet, the only notes in the NOE section are the ones that have been sent over the emails, as far as I can tell.  To access these click "NOE" then "notes".  That section also contains another link to images of cutaway cartridges for the loadsheets that have been generated as yet under "cartridges".  Hope this helps, it was a little longer than I planned.  I don't think the .38 you are looking for has been done yet.

Hi, I know you said you're taking some time off of this for hunting season, at least I think I remember you posting that.  But, could you do the 311-169-FN (ELCO) in .300 AAC Blackout and .30-30 when you get back to all of this.  No hurry and thanks again.

Thanks for the response, RD.  Bookmarked the page, should be fun to play with.

I would like a 4-cavity Aluminum gas check if it isn't too late.
