My mind is making future plans again. Apparently a while back there was a Lee group buy on Cast Boolits for an “original” profile 146gn(ish) 38 S&W for black powder loads back 5-8 years ago. Also, Buffalo Arms does or did something similar, but with a crimp groove.
Matt’s Bullets sells something essentially the same at 150gn, a clone of the old Ideal bullet:

Basically, the driving section is as short as feasible to leave as much room for black powder as possible.
Would there be interest here other than from me? Would a crimp groove version be better?
