Keeping your mould handles adjusted goes a long way
to eliminate problems with your mould closing and aligning
during casting.Tighten the pivot bolt until the spring washer is
fully compressed and the lock nut bottoms out and
just stops turning.
Next back the nut off about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn.
This should let the handle halves pivot with out “rocking”
side to side and give you full engagement of the lock nut.
This should also give good clearance between the halves. If you choose to use LEE “large” handles it will go along way
to improve there function if you keep them adjusted too.You may have to work with this a little but it should get
you a very close adjustmentBullet maker, maker
