      NOE Sales… can’t resist.. a good 4th July for me, even being a Scot and not an American  ;)

      Started testing the 460-405Gr RF I ordered in RG2, with plain-base, in my JM-build Marlin 1895.

      Initial impressions are good.  Only been able to try them at a low-velocity-rule 25 yard indoor just now, but hopefully 100 yards next few days.

      Used the Flat-Point pin first.  BHN 14 alloy, total 385 grains, 13 grains Trail-Boss (Est. 1000+ FPS) , sized to 0.459, Ben’s Red lube, just enough roll crimp to unbell the flare.

      Cast-fans at my range, well they said these heads were too good to shoot…

        Have had a RG4 for a few months but only got around to testing some HP today, first 3 shots at 50 went 1″ first 3 at 100 1.5″
        Velocity topped out at 1400fps, I’m after 1600-1800fps so a bit more development to do but looks good so far.
