Just saw the bullet base chamfer tools on the site. Is this something new? Sounds like something I need now and then, big improvement on the thumbnail trick.

Been around for a while, must have had mine for a few years now.

Definitely a handy bit of kit.

I have probably had mine for a year now, it was a surprise to me when I saw it on his site.  I got the power version and it works great. I have a LBT 250 LFN mould for 41 mag that needs some help getting the checks on and the chamfer tool was exactly what I needed.

I’m leaning toward the manual tool, when mallets and 30 cal GC’s are in stock I’ll have Al send them my way, perhaps with another shiny new mould. I have a 311041 loaned out somewhere but thinking about a mould combining PB/GC cavities if it doesn’t turn up.

It’s a great tool.  I would like one a bit bigger, for larger cals.

What would be cool, is a tool that holds the bullet nice and firm for doing the chamfering.  My clumsy hands, sometime I can’t hold the bullets tight enough. Somethin that would aid griping them nice and firm, without mashing marks into the alloy.

Al has a tool for that too.  Have you seen this?

No, I never saw that, thanks.

Seems to be just for 22’s at this time?
