      what temp of pot and hot plate for mold are you guys using for this one. or any 22 cal aluminum mold?

        Since receiving this mold I have had 2 casting session making a total of 1500 boolits.Both times I let the mold get to 300* on my hot plate before I started casting.First 3 or 4 pours I dumped. After that the boolits were ready to keep.My mold is a 5 cavity. I kept the melt at 700*….Terry

          Temps about like TCFan, mine likes the lyman dipper better than the spout on the Lee pot.

            i kept pot same temp as you guys and let mold get good and warm on hot plate and they came out perfect.
