I’m hoping this is the place to initiate this conversation.
The barrels of the several rifles I have measured chambered for this cartridge have had bores of 0.399-0.400″ and grooves of 0.406-0.407″. These seem to fall right between the common .40/10mm and the .41 calibers molds available. I think/hope there might be some interest in a mold for this ‘in between’ caliber. I like the design of the 360 grain .412 caliber bullet, and would be happy with that design ‘adjusted’ to throw a 0.406 or 0.407 bullet. Maybe a 0.408 to be sized to 0.406 or 0.407. Those that might be interested in a group buy could decide the final specs.
