Al is of course an industry rock star for providing us with traditional shapes in these calibers. Anyone else interest in expanding the .364″ selection to include FN/WFN types for these so we can explore their thump-ability?
I’m thinking a 200 grainer for the Webley/Enfield/Victory crowd, and something in the 150 grain range for the old school top-breaks. Moderately aggressive meplats in the .25″ to .27″ range.
I suppose they could also by RG’d to about 185 and 135 grain HP’s for those so inclined.
I’d likely be after a 4C 200gr solid.

Why not split the difference and go with a 178gn that will work for both?
The vast majority of Enfields and Webleys are sighted for .380 Mk.2 (178gn FMJ) anyway, not for 200gn which shoots high.
I have done a significant amount of experimentation on this point with both a .38 S&W M&P and a Webley .38 Mk. IV. For instance, with NOE’s 200-364 the Webley shoots to the sights at 25m with 1.5gn AA #2, giving a whole 450 fps, which is far below the service velocities. (the M&P is sighted about halfway between 145gn factory and 380 Mk.2, and needs to go down to 380fps to shoot to the sights with a 200gn bullet).
I fired a few original 380 Mk.2’s which ran at about 575 fps out the same revo.
Why not split the difference and go with a 178gn that will work for both?
How well that would work for the weaker S&W/H&R/I.J. top breaks is probably a question best left to those that own ’em, but those guns CERTAINLY are not sighted for a 178 grain pill. At any rate, my War Finish Webley MKIV is a happy camper with the Al’s first 200 grainer at a chrono’d 625fps. If it is in fact shooting high at 25y/m, it isn’t requiring much Tennessee elevation – less than the height of the dog food cans I’m center-punching.
I guess another question we might ask is “Does Al need to introduce a 178 grain TRADITIONAL shape as well?” Presumably, my NOE 200 grainer on the Mk.2 profile is an error that could be discontinued in favor of a 178 grain version, and the rounder-nosed Mk.1 is the “correct” 200 grain profile.
I imagine that six profiles – flat and round nose at 150, 178, and 200 grains, with RG options in the flats – would provide enough options to make ANY .38 S&W owner happy. At that point, Al could say “These are what we do” without the clientele having a reason to get butt-hurt.
