      My last two molds, I gave them the Dawn bath followed by a hot water bath. I the final step is to clean each cavity with acetone. During this process, the spure plate’s finish came off. This has not happened to me before.
      Did you change the process on them?

        Are you saying that the deep brown is coming off, and you’re essentially seeing bare steel?

          Had some that got a heavy coat (double dipped).
          Will not affect the plate or how it works
          Use them and see how it works out.
