Hi,
I just happened upon this site while trekking the web in search of a better hollow point mould. I’ve got Lyman hollow point moulds but it’s dang hard to keep the pins hot enough for a good cast. The lip of the hollow point looks like Matlock trying to smile; it’s all wrinkly. I found NOE and ordered the 452 230Gr. HP RG4 cavity PB and started producing gorgeous hollow points.
I would like to see a 403 200Gr. WFN RG4 cavity PB made. I’ve got a handgun/carbine pairing in 40 S&W (I know it’s not as steeped in hallowed tradition as, say, a 41 or 44 pistol/rifle combo, but It’s still nice to be out and about the woods knowing that your bullets will fit either) and I want to make a good heavy bullet so I can stop whatever I come across. Deer, hopefully, bear if I startle them and have no choice in the matter of self preservation.
So that’s my vote. One last note on the construction of the moulds, the set screws for the sprue plate hinge and lock bolts are great. I have Lee moulds that start swinging it in the breeze, if you get my meaning, after a good number of casts. Thanks,
Sgt. Alvin York
