I just finished casting some 9mm bullets with the 135 gr Ranchdog mold.  With my alloy and after powdercoating, they came out to about 140 gr.  I was planning on a subsonic load for these using either Bullseye or Unique.  Anybody done it already?  I am planning on starting with 3.5 gr Bullseye or 3.8 gr Unique and working up or down from there.  Should make a nice little quiet plinking round with the suppressors.

        Hi Cornmastah,

Is this the SC357-135-RF (RD) -12- GB234 mold?  If so, what OAL are you using?

        I’m coming up with 1.035 + or – a tad.

        Your thoughts?

Mine are powder coated and I am running them around 1.055 give or take a little.  That seems to work well in my guns.

            I’m powder coating too.

I’ll try the longer dimension and see if they cycle.  Appreciate the reply.

What powder/charge are you using?  I’ve been going with around 3.4 gr of bullseye.

Was planning to use unique.  5.5 or 5.4 gr.

You going to be running them supersonic?

Yes.  I’m casting mine as hollow-point, then powder coating them.  They are coming out closer to 125 with the hollow-point.

Cool, post your load data when you get a good one worked up.
