Hello, this is my first post and want to cast 20/1 alloy using a NOE 265 Gr. WFN 4 Cav. PB brass mold.  (I have not bought the mold yet.).
I would like to cast to .452 size so I do not have to use a resizer.  If I understand some other posts, I should expect about 1/2 % shrinkage
from this alloy and size.  So .452/.995=.4542.  Am I correct to hope that a .454 mold will shrink to about .452 with a 20/1 alloy?  I have read
that other factors also enter in like mold and furnace temperature, but would like some confirmation that I am understanding this correctly.
      Thanks, a hopefully future caster.
