I’m working on a wildcat and can’t find a bullet weight I want, can a bullet style be given more length to add like 40 grains to a bullet mold that is already being made?
I ordered way back couple molds which I ask could mold maker cut gas checks off and that makes those bullets only something like 10-15 grains lighter.. So adding one grease groove probably won’t rise weight up 40 grains.. Just quessing..
I think the OP meant adding the LENGTH of one more grease groove…. That would work, but I think it would require new, longer tooling to cut the mould…. A faster twist rate could be required for bullet stability….
