I would like to see the 360-310 thumper blown up to 375 cal. for use in the Holland & Holland. The weight should be around 300 Gr. or so.

I would be interested in this.  Would like to see the drawing.

I just ran the math.  (And quadruple-checked it, since my brain didn’t like the answer.)

Theoretically, the 360-310 FN bumped by 0.017″ will only gain 0.79 grains (based on pure lead).
So you’d still be looking at 310/311 gr.

Squigie- I believe your math is wrong, if I put the NOE360310 FN (thumper) in Tom Meyers bullet design program, and increase the diameter, lube groove depth, bands and meplat of boolit by .017″ all other parameters the same, (Boolit length, band length, groove ratio, ect) . You’ll get~ a 340gr Boolit.  I used wheel weights for the program calc’s, using pure lead would get you approx 350gr.

That sounds like way too much weight gain, to me.

But I just ran the numbers a different way, and came up with a similar result: 342 gr  (WW +2%).

Well heck. Leave it to a Newbie to cover old ground. From what replies I see here nothing is going on. I posted almost the identical bullet at 310 to 340 grains a few hours ago so this is right in the wheel-house. If this one ever catches hold in something workable in a .375 H&H I must have one. Anybody else?

any of you have some rough dimensions to use to draw one up?
