I am not trying to be a smart ass or anything like that but again and again I visit the NOE store and find them out of a lot of molds. I am looking for one for 300 Blackout and around 150 grain, the gooks call for .309 but my mold I purchased from NOE for the Sub Sonic is .312 and I just size them down. Today I had to order a LEE mold and I know it is no where as good as the NOE molds I have but I just did not want to wait any longer.

I will keep checking back and will end up replacing the LEE with a NOE but it sure would be nice if they were just instock.

Demand is surely out stripping capacity.

With all the bespoke buys from here demanding machine time and each one increasing the catalogue it must be really difficult to keep up to date with a fully stocked inventory.

Al has invested in new machinery recently and getting all that up and running leads to down time but necessary to get ahead. I am sure Al is well aware of the demand and doing his very best to get moulds out.

The success of such an excellent product and a member needs driven business model can be a two edged sword.

I have used bullets from both of the molds listed below.  I cast, powder coated, sized and then shot several of them through my 300 blk rifles/pistols/sbr’s.  Both cast about 150 gr bullets and are in stock right now.

While I am not particularly happy that the inventories are low, I am quite happy that NOE as a business is doing so well! I wish them all continued success and long fruitful careers producing glorious bullet moulds for those of us fortunate enough to have found Al’s site. I found the site about a year ago while searching for hollow point moulds after monkeying around with the Lyman pin hollow point flavors (Devestator and Foster slug) which were ok but I wanted to see if there was something better. There is!

I just casted my second batch from the HTC309-153-SP mould you told me about, I just love this mould. The boolits literally jump out of the mould when I top it with my wood mallet.

I hope these catch on so when there is time I may see some pictol calibers with that bullet design. After coating it looks like a FMJ.

I am getting 3/4″ group at 50 years (size of my range, we all have limitations)

Thanks again for the help locating this mould.

No problem, glad you are enjoying yours as much as I am enjoying mine.  I love the non lube groove design.  The bullets just fall out so nicely.
