Hello and good day folks. For those of you that have been powder coating and maybe wanted a better way when baking your boolits and using the metal mesh screens, I might have an idea for you. I have been happy for the most part however some of the boolits bases have not had complete coverage. I’ve seen no issues when firing but I wanted a more complete coating since I plan on increasing my velocities in a high pressure cartridge. I was not planning on going the paint gun route as I do like the ease of dry mixing the powder coat in a container.
I researched alittle bit and found some use parchment paper and or silicon mats instead of the wire mesh for the boolits to either stand up in or lay in while cooking. So with that I purchased a couple different types of silicon mats and I must say, I think the textured ones work excellent. No stick, easy clean with either side having textures for the boolits.  there are options for you that like to stand them up, and also for those that like to just dump and go. The photos below I hope show what I mean. One side has hole perfect for hollow point pistol bullets and spire points to go straight in and the triangle side works great for base down or laying sideways. I get complete coverage now, and my silicon mat looks brand new after each use. Easy to just wipe off excess after your finished powder coating for the day.
I hope my idea helps someone else who is looking for a different way. The silicon mat was $ 5.80 at a local box store. Hard to beat that.

Textured silicon mats, that is a cool idea.  What store did you get them at?  I’m always up for trying new ways.

The ones I got were from a local Walmart. I tried the smooth sheets ( even cheaper,  $3.00 I think) which work great as well, but I found the textured ones work even better for certain boolit shapes.
I got a couple in case they wore out but so far, the first one is working as new. They come in a roll and measure 16 inches by 11 inches and I just cut to size for my pan. Like I said, reversible with either a triangle shape or the hole.
They are made for low calorie baking, but seem to also be great for us powder coaters.
          Take care Sir.

Thanks!  I may have to try them out sometime.
