      I saw that video yesterday, interesting!  Any idea how fast you are shooting those?  I use 10 grs of Unique with one of the CB’s in my Marlin 1885 SBL to shoot them @ 950 fps. for a nice plinking load that shoots great @ 50 yds.  I had also thought one time about stacking them, now I have to try it. I am probably going to start at the lower velocities and work them up and see how they shoot.

        I am guessing about 1100 fps, but it is practically impossible to chronograph with 2 bullets going through it at the “same” time.

          Well the two bullets are 370ish grains?  What does the load of 5744 you used push a 405 and figure it will be a bit faster due to slightly lighter weight?  I just have never used 5744 so I have no idea what the velocities are like.

              Great,  That is what I was figuring you going with also and it is in the velocity range I was thinking also.

                Love how you think out of the box.  I bet you are working on some kind of sabot with flichettes somewhere in your mind.

                Have you seen that kid who made sodium and potassium bullets?  He calls himself, the backyard scientist.  Pretty interesting.

                  Thanks!  I want to get a hold of some ballistic gel and do some testing with some of the NOE hollow points.  I also want to see what the hollow base wadcutter bullets look like when flipped around backwards.
