Would anyone else be interested in a design like the HTC 402 188 they have going right now in a 452 diameter for 45 acp and so forth.
My thought was try to keep the weight around 225/235 grns

I might be. My only hesitation would be if it would not cycle my 1911 45acp. If someone with more experience could throw some insights, I’d feel better about a possible order. I would be interested in an rg2 style. 225-230 grains for the hollow point, works for me.

We would have to have a little knowledge brought up on that subject.
I seen some things while I was reading about the 45 bd bullet design.

Here is the link I found that discusses how large the meplat and dimensions have to be for reliable cycling.

I would think the dimensions could be adjusted to help stay in the desired weight range.

We need some more knowledge from bullet design people on this one.

I checked out the link. Good information there. Thank you for that. Sounds like it’s very possible depending on the design.
If I may have any more input, id like the regular wide flat nose to be close to that 255 grain mark and the option with pins for a hollow point 230 grain version as well. That would be perfect for my needs I think.
