Nice. That mold will empty pot pretty fast  ;D  4-cavity well over 2500 grain per drop…

Finally got my mould in the mail and opened it up to check it out. Dang,  that deep pin is really long! I am curious how well it casts but you didn’t have any issues with it.  I will break it in and cast a few just to see how it works.  I don’t have a use for them now but a few as conversation pieces will be cool.

I’d just highly recommend preheating the mold and smoking those super deep HP pins.  Put a good coat of carbon on the pins to help with the release.  Those deep pins are DEEEEEEEP.

It was looking like they were coming off the long pin easy enough without any serious beating in your video. They do have a nice taper which has to help them pop off after the mould is opened.

Yes, the hardest part is at the very beginning before everything is all nice and toasty.  I tried using the mold preheating it the normal way I do it, but without any smoke on the pins.  The deepest hp bullet got stuck on the first cast.  I had to unscrew the hp pin clip and pull the pin out to get the bullet off.  That’s when I smoked the two deeper hp pins and gave em a good coating of carbon.  Then things seemed to work well.  Shouldn’t have to bang on it too hard.
