Swede: I bought a brass 2 cavity mold 321-185-rf pb and also a membership at golds gym to see if I could build up a little to use it. As I suspected the bullets cast from 20-1 alloy could not be seated by a simple push type seating tool in my rolling block too fat and too hard. So I cast some of pure lead. They are heavier, 195 gr lubed, smaller, about .ooo5, .321 at the base, and softer. They pushed right in. So I’m gonna go try my first breech seated shooting in my 32-40. I also tried a new old trick of opening the sprue plate by pushing with a gloved hand instead of smacking with a mallet. It cuts the sprue clean and flat, no more divots or humps.
