      trying to load up some of these for carcano, does anyone have some load data?  I am thinking of 27 Grains of 4895 but need the correct seating depth.

        I doubt this will help but here goes. I shoot that bullet in a 6.5x54mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer with 26.0gr of H4895 for 1860 fps and a COAL of 3.030″.

          that case is only 1.5mm longer, so I will try crimping on that band too and see how it goes.  it will give me a COL of 2.962″

            I don’t see a 270-163-anything

              Looking at Hodgdon data, I’d start at about 26gr and work up and down to find best accuracy. COL of about 2.900″ or closest crimp groove if you crimp.
