Ok I admit it, I’ve never used push thru sizers before… always used Lyman 45 or 450… just ordered NOE push thru sizers and bushings and want to size some 44 cal for my rifles…how do you guys get the lube done?  I currently use LBT soft blue in stick form..I guess I could use it and hand lube then run thru the sizer… or should I size them first?  Do I need to pan or tumble lube, or really go off a cliff and try powder coating?

I am open to any sage advice and really appreciate your help.

      Kindest regards,

      TheMoose

I lube in the lube sizer using an as cast diameter size die, then size to diameter with the push through.

That was kind of what I thought of, but didn’t know how the push thru would work with excess lube when it is sized smaller.

If your going to lube the bullets in your lube/sizer then why not size them in your lube sizer?
The original push through sizers you used a pan and cake cutter.
I use a mixture off Lee’s liquid lube with floor wax, I don’t recall the exact mix.
It works very well. At least at the velocities I shoot cast.
It may not hold up at 3000 fps.Leo

I don’t have a lube sizer.  I dip lube with blue carnauba, let dry and run the whole thing through the push-thru sizer.
