      I would like to get a four cavity aluminum hollow point version of this mold

        I’d also like one of these in an aluminum RG4, looks like it’d be great for a heavy 9mm or 357 SIG.

          It is a great mould for heavy 9mm’s both in autos and in my 8 shot 9mm competition revolver.

            Your cartridges look great! Do you have any issues with these jamming into the leade when chambering, if they are loaded long like this? I’ve found I’ve got to load TC boolits much shorter for them not to jam in my only 9mm so far, a PSA AK-V. They only chamber freely when the shoulder is slightly above the case mouth. I’ve calculated a starting point in QuickLoad but haven’t loaded live rounds yet.

            In the .357 Sig, the HTC359-129-TC-CD4 cast with deep hollowpoints, powdercoated and seated to a COAL of 1.140″ over ~12.5gr of Accurate #9 has performed wonderfully. I’m getting about 1330fps from the factory Glock 32 barrel (4.01″) and 1380fps from the Alpha Wolf threaded barrel (4 6″). I’m really hoping this ELCO 155gr TC would work well in both a .357 Sig and 9mm loading as a reliable subsonic round.

              No I do not have any issues. That is the thing with this bullet, it is not a straight sided bullet up to the Shoulder.  It is actually tapered slightly from a point above the lube groove so you can load it out and you will not have issues with it jamming into the lead of the rifling.  Go look at the bullet drawing and you will see the taper,  there is just not a visible line where it starts on the cast bullet.

                Well that sounds perfect, I didn’t realize it was tapered before the truncated cone nose began. I’ll look st the drawing more closely. Sounds like this is exactly what I’m looking for–hopefully we can get some more made soon.

                  You’ll need 5 to make this mould a candidate for re-construction and it looks like you have 2 so far. In the meanwhile you may want to consider the mould I use for my “heavy 9” : 363-150-RN-AK2. They have these in stock. I’m using Blue Dot under these (charge escapes me at the moment) and there is no signs of excessive pressure. Since you’re powder coating you should size first, of course.
