Well dang Just received the 360-232-rf.
Cleaned it heat treated it and cast today.
Got good bullets almost right away.
Powder coated with clear, loaded ten AND
they only feed from one side of the mag.
left side feeds to low and they hit the bottom of the barrel.
      Savage 110 blind mag.

I have another project a 35 Whelen IMP on a Mauser.
Maybe that will feed with a little work.
That project just made the priority list.

        Just an update.

I did not chamfer the back of the chamber when I put this together.
Got it chamfered and now feeds like greased lightning.

This cast bullet design tends to need a longer freebore due to its max ogive diameter being .360 and the 35 caliber bore diameter of .349.
Please check your particular cartridges SAAMI spec, & check that cartridges freebore length…

I also picked one of the molds up some time back. I bought it specifically for my 358Win and its a good one!!  I also have shot it in the 357 Maxi and my 350 Legend when sized down to .356.

              CW,
I just received a new mould from NOE.
              It is a 360-249-RN-V2

It is a Round Nose Plane Base design
If you or anyone else is interested in a trade of X # of projectiles in 35 caliber for testing
              please let me know.

              Thanks in advance

              Bob in St Augustine
BTW, shooting a 35-40 Maynard cartridge out of a old Stevens SS 44 1/2
