Moderator::Since this is your first post you should know that NOE currently has a policy that Al posted several years ago that requires at least 5 individuals to say that they want a rerun of a certain mould for it to even be considered for a new production run of a previously run mould.
Whether that also includes the scenario of certain of that original mould run still being in stock I cannot say…
In my experience when I locate a mould that is totally out of stock and want to request it then I post the request as you did to see if there are at least 4 other individuals who also want some of that mould model. Once that happens then, I believe that the forum administrators let AL know and at that time Al can determine if a new production run will be considered to be scheduled.
You just have to basically keep watching the mould number on the store website and monitoring the forum subject for anyone else wanting one of the same mould, & or a forum administrator logging in and giving everyone watching that forum subject an update…
One of the other mould makers in the same general area just posted that any already in process & confirmed orders in house would take 4 or 6 weeks to fill due to COVID & worker limitations imposed by the local authorities…
For a new group buy it takes at least 10 individuals to say that they want a mould design to be drawn up. & created.
Once agreed upon then it takes all 10 to commit to purchase the mould up front… prior to the tooling to cut the mould being made…Looking at the mould in question on the NOE store website…it appears that only the PB versions of the mould design that you want are out of stock…

Maybe if you phone Al and personally request that one of the remaining GC versions be converted to a PB, and that you will agree to purchase said modified mould prior to the modification being done… Al might possibly consider that as a potential possibility…
Whether Al will even consider doing that or not… I cannot say… nor would I even venture to guess.
At least the original CNC program should be able to be used to make the needed cuts… Once the mould is properly re-setup once again to make the needed GC removal cuts to produce a PB version.
That is the only option that I can think of off the top of my head to try to help you get the mould that you are asking for at the moment.
One can also have an experienced outside machinist remove a GC shank by enlarging the base shank diameter to the major that engraved on the mould as one permanent way to make a PB version out of a GC version.
I know that it can be done… as I have had it done for me separately by another machine shop in the past… when need out weighed time… or I wanted a special mod on a mould to fit my special needs…
The whole process then becomes a one way street… if later on you want a GC version or the end result is not to your liking…
It is also not cheap.. and can potentially cost as much as the original mould did to have the mod done…so it all basically depends on how bad you want that PB if ever & how quickly…
Even that lately takes at least a month with payment up front for the work…
Take Care, & Stay Safe…
