We were talking last night and Georgia chat and it was suggested I bring it up here. I borrowed this mold from a friend and I’m really liking it. It’s almost identical to the RCBS 35 Dash 200 FN except for the Mi Platt the NOE is much larger. I prefer that all things being equal.

Searching through the site I don’t see this mold offered. So I assume it was a special buy or a discontinued model. I do see a 360 Dash 214 offered and I am strongly considering it. This profile has been a very good shooter in a number of my 35s and I have a growing appreciation for the ability to have hollowpoint in a cup Point boolits.

Are blank hollow point pins available for purchase? I mean the deep hollow point pin that has not been machine for shape but would fit in the die.

You will find the reference to the 360-200 FN noted on the following NOE page…

        http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index.php/topic,350.0.html

Unfortunately that particular mould designation is listed as a work in progress by Al with no actual drawing sketch shown for that particular mould designation…

A number of years ago NOE changed its numbering system as it became apparent that multiple moulds could have the same potential designation.

You will find the .200 & the .250 blank pins on the following NOE page.

        https://noebulletmolds.com/site/product-category/specialty-moulds/page/2/

Unfortunately the blank pins for both diameters are also currently sold out at the moment.

At least now you know where the spare mould parts are located…

Cherish what you have…  It is what it is…

            Well… sometimes one gets lucky…

In rooting around in my computer flies around 0300 this morning I came across an old Excel file that I had created circa the time that NOE was changing its numbering system.

That Excel file had a reference to the original NOE 360-200 FN (RCBS), & the current NOE mould name which is: 360-214-FN-U3.

Once I found that bit of tracing intel… it was a relatively simple matter to go back to the NOE store, & see what possibly might be still be in the bins in the NOE store…

            https://noebulletmolds.com/site/product-category/358/360-214-fn-u3/

Apparently there is still stock of the 360-214-FN for you to pick from including some RG GC versions of that mould as well as GC and PB non HP versions…

The table is now set…. Enjoy… the meal.
