Finally got to try out the 30XCB in my Felix bench rifle.
      It did not disappoint!

First was a group with my House alloy using a to-the-shoulder charge of WC867

Then I switched to Leverevolution powder and kicked it up to HV

Really impressive, especially at that high a velocity. Great job Tim.

Could you give a little more info on your rifle?

Nice Tim. Is that your first Brux? How did it cut compared to others?

The rifle is a 1909 Argentine that I got a deal on. I replaced the bolt with a modern commercial offering of higher quality.
The trigger is a Timney and set by me to 12oz.
The trigger guard was milled by me from billet steel.
The rail was milled by me from billet steel to perfectly match the receiver.
The stock was sculpted by me to fit my body and shooting style exactly. It is made from Arkansas black walnut. It has 2.5lb of lead in the butt to balance it with the heavy barrel so it rides the bags as if it had Union Pacific written on the side of it. It is completely bedded with Devcon 10-110 (even the bolt).
            The barrel is a 1.25″ X 30″ Brux, 4 groove, 1-14 twist, 416SS. Fully floated.
The scope is a Weaver T-36 attached to the rail by Tally QD rings.

There are three barrels that can be absolutely depended on for plug and play precision: Krieger, Bartlien and Brux. They work as advertised, and they are a joy to use, in the shop, on the bench, and in the field.

nice goin’ in the “fast Lane”!

I’m guessing your rifle is chambered for 308 win?  What lube?

What do you mean “even the bolt”?  Do you mean that the cut-out for the magazine is blocked/filled in with the Devcon?
