        For those that are just getting into casting the 311-194 is NOE’s version of the Lyman 311332 cast bullet design that has a long history of being very accurate in the 30-06 cartridge … that the 311332  was specifically designed for… Lyman rated all its lead alloy weights with a Lyman #2 alloy which tends to be rather on the hard side when compared to WW alloy….  Thus the 180 grain weight listing in the Lyman reference charts …

        NOE tends to use a WW alloy as its standard dimension design program reference … alloy thus 194 grains in WW tends to be ~ 180 grains in Lyman # 2 alloy…  Nuff Said …
