Any interested get NOE copy of Saeco SAE61023  .458″ nominal diameter, 385 grain, Soft Point bullet.

This one is casted pure lead and 2% Sn

I would like to get this one at .460 diameter and 2 or 4 cavity mold. Unfortunately I haven´t got any WW and sending samples from Finland to USA costs  are incredible… So if anyone has this mold and has WW and could cast some samples and send it to Al, it would be great.

Hope this will get still interested peoples so GB there is possibility to start GB. How about if wider it .460? GC possibility? any thoughts?

Here is a preliminary drawing.  For most people we’d probably want to use WW as the alloy and stretch it out to .460 or so.  If you want to check my measurements, Teemu, you can see if it looks like it should.  Sometimes the drawing program doesn’t do things in the way I would think to do them.  Here is the drawing:

It looks exactly similar.  I also liked to get it .460 and possible GC version so i’m with flow. I have plenty of sizing dies

I really wanted this GB to happen but it quickly faded when no one sent a sample to Al. I went out on my own and ordered a one-off mold somewhere else. It is a ringer for this one and I wish I could have waited. But this discussion started in 2015 and didn’t appear to ever become a reality. I don’t feel comfortable waiting that long.

Yeah I know. Orginal discussion there was few who said they send samples to Al but apears it never happened. So it stays wierd limbo stage… And I could also do more myself…Well not blaming anyone. Let’s see if this goes anywhere. I’m trying sold this idea other places…
