I heard a while back about an upcoming release of some .22 caliber pellet molds.  I think it was three different weight range groups I heard of at the time.

The 20 grain pellet mold caught my eye and I was wondering if that has been cancelled or put on the back burner?  I only have a budget PCP so I didn’t really want to go with any of the higher weight pellet molds.  Although my air rifle produces plenty of power to spit out the 20 grainers, anything heavier than that will just not fly fast enough for my liking.

If I’m not mistaken this particular 20 grain pellet mold was said to be adjustable up to 24 grains.  I’m really only interested in the lightest of the bunch.  It’d be nice to be able to get it while I have the money to do so but, if plans have been cancelled for that particular mold I guess I’m out of luck.

The last I heard the tooling was done and Al was just waiting for a Mill to be available to run the moulds…. It could be virtually “any day now”….

          Thanks Bob:

I’ll try to hold onto this extra spending money a bit longer but you know, Christmas is just around the corner and as it is, money just tends to disappear all by itself.  With Christmas coming, it disappears all the faster.  I’d like nothing better right now than to buy myself an early Christmas gift in the form of one of these pellet molds.

If it works out for me, I may never have to buy any more store-bought pellets again.

Still waiting for word on this pellet mold.  I spent a fair chunk of my expendable income today on one of those MagnitoSpeed chronos.  I have just enough left over for one of these .22 caliber pellet molds as of right now but money just seems to want to fly away all by itself.

As is usually the case, the .22 caliber pellet molds I have my eye on will be on the shelves not long after I’ve spend that money.  Lets hope I can buy myself that pellet mold for Christmas.  It would compliment my new chronograph real nice.

Thanks Bob.  I spent the money I had allotted for this pellet mold the day before yesterday. (wouldn’t you know it?)

It will be a couple more months before those expendable funds are available again.  In the mean time I look forward to any hands-on reviews of these 20 grain pellet molds that come down the pike.  I still want to get one, it’s just that there were alot of Christmas sales on stuff that I also had my eye on that were available for immediate sale.

I’m having a blast shooting these pellets from my Crosman 150’s, very accurate out of those pistols.  I haven’t had a chance to get out with my .22’s much until a few days ago I got a fox squirrel with the Magnum Hunters from my SPA M16 . . . those are extremely accurate from that gun, it was the only shot I took that day and it hit exactly where I was aiming from 40 yards.

I’ve also been shooting these pellets from both my ATI’s the Freedom and Liberty both and they’re both very accurate from those guns.  I really should try some of these from my Airmax Dominator as well.  All my Crosmans love them.
