      Is there any interest in the following mold?

      Lyman Bullet Mold #225415 22 Caliber (225 Diameter) 55 Grain Flat Nose Gas Check & plain base?

      Evidently, Lyman shows a 45 grain version in the 3rd edition Cast bullet handbook.
      Does anyone know why?

      Also, if anyone has this mold and would be willing to send a couple samples to Al for measurements, it would be greatly appreciated.

      This is a bullet I have wanted for my 222 Remington.

          Originally this group buy was to get an old style bullet made again–which is what the current buy is.  If people like the way the old bullet works, I’d say stick with that.  If people want to redesign a .223 bullet and make something new–might be worth starting a new group buy discussion.  Either way, though, I have no preference–I’m not needing another .223 mold at this time.

            I like old style. And like you told it was on GB which was going on…. and at least .225 or .228 diameter. Prefer .228

            So I vote stick to that what was going on already.

                    Why should it be on halt.

                    People expressed interest in the old design and it is running.

                    If people want a different bullet then start a different GB, it isn’t an either or situation.

                    Everyone should be “winners” here.
