neck expander for lyman M die

I use a Lyman M die to expand the case mouth and have looked at the NOE sizer buttons but am not sure how you decide which ones to order. There must be a system or rule of thumb to decide which one is correct. Calibers in question are .475 and .431, both for revolver.

There is a rather detailed explanation of the NOE expander plugs and their use on the forum from 2018 in detail on that particular subject.

It includes posts by Al & a number of other early contributors & an administrator or two on the NOE forum that I found that tended to cover the subject pretty well…

Rule of thumb is 2 thou under & 2 thou over final bullet diameter.
