I just got off the phone with Al Nelson of NOE, and he has decided to tool up for the following pellets…. He will not be running Group Buys, so as soon as the tooling is done and they have time on the mill, these moulds will be available in the NOE Store…. I will let you know of course when that happens….

The .22 cal is of similar weight to the JSB Monsters, and the same LOA, to fit all known .22 cal mags…. The .25 cal is in between the JSB Kings and Heavies, and will fit all known .25 cal mags…. The .30 cal is similar in weight to the JSB pellets, and is short enough to fit the FX mag., and of course all other known mags…. For the .35 cal see next post….

Here is the drawing for the .35 cal….

The weight starts at the JSBs and goes up from there…. It should fit all known mags….

I’m sure getting anxious for these new molds to show up in the store myself, my first buy will be the .22 and the next will probably be the new .25 (even though the 250-34-FN’s are shooting great) I’m kinda excited about a .25 that is a little lighter than the 34 grainers too.

I just received the 300-46-R brass mold and it looks great. I’m in the process of prepping it and I find that the pins seem to be too long which is causing binding when slightly snugging the brackets and they won’t slide when opening the mold. I had to add a .004″ shims under the two brackets in order to get smooth movement. I deburred, polished and checked the brackets for flatness and they are good. With the brackets removed the pins prude slightly above the block by .004″. I have not checked the other pins yet only the 46 grain ones.

Please read through and follow this thread for adjusting the RG mould pins….

                    http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index.php/topic,199.0.html

The normal procedure is to gently bend the tangs until the pins just slide, yet fully seat when the mould is closed…. No reason your shims will not work…. Once adjusted for one set of pins, they should all work fine, at least that had been my experience with other RG moulds….

Bob, thanks, I will give that a try it is a lot easier then shimming.

Bending the pin brackets did the job and I now have smooth release of the pins.

I own the Evanix Rainstorm in British .303 cal. I do not see a pellet for that cal. I have tried .308 soft lead balls and they will not go at all.Did I miss something or does the skirt on the new NOE .308 work well in the British 30 cal. So far the only source for pellets has been JSB or HSN and there is a guy in South Africa that makes a British 30 cal mold. Help with clarification please: What ARE the NOE part numbers for the British 30?

The .30 moulds are 303. I shoot them both in my .300 guns (which is what 303 actually is) and my .308 gun.
