Cast up a big batch of these in the HP version using my standard 50/50 alloy I like using for 45 an 9mm bullets as well a couple months ago it seems an finally got around to powder coating some and shooting them  in my Hi Point 45 ACP carbine.  I have yet to cast any of the FP version using the provided pins maybe when things calm down life wise I’ll have some of those to try out.

As cast before sizing bullet weights .218 grs.

After PCing and sizing 220 grs.

Some test rds. on target at 30 yds.  had to compensate for the first three shots as my sights are set up for cast 200 gr. SWC’s  The last five shots were all right together.

For comparison the Lee 200 grs. SWC PC’ed.

Have you tried those fancy hollow points on any jugs or watermelons to see what they do?

I did shoot a 2.5 gal. jug full of water a couple weeks ago an it split it completely in half, only thing holding it together was the bottom portion of the jug the bullet was not recovered.  I will shoot some into some wet pack medial in a few weeks to check expansion and see how my HP fair at the BHN / Velocity / Range I’m shooting them at.

Cast and coated up some of the same bullets using the cup point pins yesterday.  I have to get some loaded up and test them out.

A few bullets in the coating tub.

Finished bullets some in Yellow Green some in OD Green.

Digging around in the berm I found one of my NOE 45 ACP HP’s the other day, I found several actually and all had expanded as intended.
