I finally found a good (for me) load for the xcb. I could never get it to shoot well in my rem 700 30-06. I re-barreled it with a douglas 1:14 twist and nowI can stabilize the short xcb cast with 3 linotype to 1 ww. Load is 20 grn. R7 Chronographed a little under 2000fps. The rifle needed a new barrel, I didn’t change just for the xcb. But after re-barreling the xcb is the best so far of all my 30 cal molds.
Interesting is that is the same powder charge in my 308×1.625 using the Ardito MX4 30a bullet.
