There certainly seems to be many more .30 caliber moulds ( and rightfully so ) than 7mm moulds. However, I own several 7mm moulds and have had great results in several 7X57 mm rifles that I own right now.
Because of the fast twist rate ( 1- 8.66 “ ) in 7mm rifles, I’ve found that bullets in the 160 – 175 gr. weight range to be exceptionally accurate. I’ve recently obtained a new rifle that I’m anxious to try this NOE , 7mm cast bullet in.
This is the bullet that I have high hopes for. The bullet has already proven itself in a custom Mauser 280 Rem., and a pair of my custom 7X57 mm rifles.
This is a great mould that cast wonderfully accurate 7mm cast bullets that are long , heavy , and well suited to the fast twist of most 7mm rifles.
The drive bands and the nose diameters are correct for all of my rifles with air cooled wheel weights as an alloy.
For some reason , it seems that a lot of people don’t do a lot of cast bullet shooting in their 7mm rifles ? ? If you own a 7mm rifle and have never tried cast bullets, now might be a good time to try them.
