      I’ve been shooting these through the 458 SOCOM over 19.5g of Lil Gun. They give a nice kick. I’d like more cavities (in the mould not my teeth!) and a gas check option. Right now I’m putting plain base gas checks on them. They work great but sometimes when swaging them on they’ll tear. And a 5 cav one of these would be just grand! Anyone else interested?

        I shoot that bullet in a 45-70 rolling block BPCR cast 20-1. I could use a 4 cav plain base for sure.

          There ya go! We got two so far.
          I didn’t think of the 45/70 as mine’s a Guide Gun lever. I suppose I could just load it up with one and try it. . .

            I actually shoot this in my .460 Weatherby Ruger #1H for a lighter shooting load and I would be interested in a better quality version of it. I also have used this in my .458 SOCOM but now I use the NOE 500 gr. HTC spire point mould.

                  I use a traitional lube. It’s actually the lube described in this forum in one of the other sections.
                  I could send in a few unsized. My alloy is “tin heavy”, though (I like that shine they have right out of the mould). I don’t know if that matters or not. I could dope it up with some pure lead to make it more like #2, or something, if that would help more. . .
                  Also, if I should send them to an address other than what’s at the top of each web page, let me know.
                  I’ll fire up the pot sometime this week and put them in a small box and get them over your way unless one of the other gentlemen have a few to send in.

                      I cast a bunch last night. Most of them are throw backs as it was too cold in the garage. About 6 of them look fairly decent so I’ll send those along. Hopefully a mould will be built from them.

                              Welp. It made it to the Provo PO but it says it was delayed. Doesn’t give a reason. Maybe NOE will get it today . .  .
