225 62Gr. FN (MX3-22-EX)

I thought about buying that mould last summer, and asked the same question back then on the CastBoolits forum. The short answer seemed to indicate that it would work better in a thighter .223 Remington chambered rifle, rather than a 5.56 NATO chambered AR. Sorry, but I can’t answer that question. I haven’t actually cast anything with those moulds yet. I have to do my casting outside, and with the cold winter weather, my casting has been on hold for quite a while. Last summer and fall, I was working primarily with cast hand gun bullets and load development.

I bought the NOE 60gr RN-GC (SAECO #221) and the NOE 70gr RN-GC because I thought that they looked like the best match I could come up with for my 5.56 AR’s chamber dimensions. I won’t really know any more until the weather here warms up more.
