I have a great 22 Hornet rifle.  I thought I would buy a great mold. Well I did.  I bought the 225107GC triple cavity mold.  It gives bullets from 36.8 – 37.0 on first session.  I can do better.  I’m going to run these through my hornet for accuracy.  Using 50/50 lead Linotype.  Fill out is great, and they drop out fine.  Gas checks crimp on tight.  I can’t wait to shoot them down range.

I have read this post several times and have realized that I “need” a 22 hornet. Please post a range report with your progress with this gun. I have noticed that you are a new forum member…welcome. I should warn you of a condition  that afflicts many of the members here. It has no outward symptoms like a rash, or cough, but none the less it is real. Soon you realize that there are other guns you own that could use a new bullet, or two. You will know that you have it when you have a new mould in the mail and are on several group buys for more. So some good advise…start now on making a list so when Father’s Day, birthday, anniversary,Christmas etc. comes along you are ready with a gift idea. Everyone will be impressed with how easy you are to buy for. :)

The 22 Hornet is a fine round, I like my Hornet bullets a bit softer. The NOE 37 gn bullets shoot extremely well in my Hornets as well as being my bullet of choice for the 218 Bee.

It’s tangential to the original topic but I discover needing a new firearm based on the rarer brass I find at the range (well, rare for my range) . . . 7.62x25mm (Tokarev), 32 S&W short, 7.65x21mm Parabellum (30 Luger), etc.
