NOE have a tool for making the Lyman 225107 – 37 gr. FN, which is a tremendous bullet…. They also make it as a 245107 – 46 gr. FN, although they are out of stock at the present time…. I am suggesting that NOE consider a re-run of the .243 cal, and while they are at it, interpolate the diameter out to 0.255″ for airgun use, or use in a .25 ACP…. They also are out of the 266107 – 54 gr. FN, which could be run at the same time, using the same tooling….

There is no reason this could not also be produced in even larger calibers, by simply interpolating the diameter out further…. For example, a .308 cal would be about 73 gr…. Anyone interested in the 6mm (.243) or .25 cal, or the 6.5mm (0.264) or even larger, please post in this thread…. No reason a Lyman HP pin could not be used in one cavity….

I’d like one of each, 0.245″ and 0.255″, GC versions, both in 2 cavity aluminum with HP pin….

This looks like it would work for a 25ACP. so if it is made with a dia of 0.255″ I would be interested.

I’m in for a 25 cal version. It would be for the 25 acp but I’d also like to try it out in the 25-45.

I will check with Al.  In the meantime, the 245-46-FN inventory run is active here:

I talked to Al.  He said he can do the new sizes as inventory runs, but each different size needs to be run as a separate inventory run (only requiring 5 buyers minimum per inventory run).  Which sizes do you guys want most, or do you want me to create inventory run buys for each of the above mentioned sizes?

I have seen no requests for the 266-54-FN (245107), but it appears that the 255-50-FN (255107) has enough interest to start an Inventory Run for it…. You already have one for the 245-46-FN….

since that one is a new one, I guess we don’t have a picture of it yet.  Should I start the inventory run without a picture or wait until Al can draw it up?

Up to you, you could use the drawing for the 245-46-FN and just state that the drawing will be updated shortly…. All the diameters will increase by the same amount, 0.010″, as the tool is interpolated around in a larger circle…. If the two inventory runs can be done at the same time, it will save production (setup) time, IMO….
