Hi,

is it possible to get these with the waist bored out to  a .200 or .210  cylindrical waist? without adding much to the price?

More complicated (tapered bit?) as a .200  a wasp waist? (possible?)

Modded your drawing to show what I am asking…pics are worth many words…

if possible might allow having a couple different designs using the same cherry just reworking the waist?

I know from a end user point of view having more designs to work with will help in developing cast for air rifle…and want to do the experiment…

with this pellet my gut wonders if  the long nose and 65% meplat wants a more bullet like shape (more like a H&N Sniper Mag) or wider waist (like the JSB 33g  .25 King Heavy (.200 wasp waist))… I am humble enough to know how easy it is to be wrong about that tho…
I  like look/feel the .210 cylindrical waist and .200 taper skirt most…

I want thank you for your mold development work for the Bob Boattails….  your work it is helping us start to figure out more of the finer points of cast rounds for air… I  asked Bob to draw up some lights (40g .25 BBT and 30g .22 BBT)  for those with stock-ish Mrod type fpe… Thank you(and Bob) for them especially…

I am creeping up on moa with the BBT 40g by the way…I am using stock Mrod that needs a bit more leade work and a 10# hammer spring for a touch more velocity…@ 750fps currently… hoping to hit about 800fps with the stiffer spring.

Below are pics from my first test session sharp edged leade and all…velocity at ~700 fps… currently that(1″ edge to edge) is a bad group and about .75″ is expect-able… get some bad fliers when the round hangs up on the 90% done leade once in a while…

I  need to get one of my  .22 barrels modded for the .25 Mrod breech to do PCP testing of the 30g .22 but they do decent even down at about 560fps out of my 21 fpe Crosman franken pumper… which seems to have a slight harmonics prob with them… otherwise I think it would be clover leafs… I think the design is a very good one…
