Nice, a BC of 0.336 !!! …. I have an even longer one, 113 gr., if I can convince Al to draw it up….

I see there are four guys who stated on the poll they are interested in molds for this bullet…. I need this for my new .257 Monocoque PCP which will have the first of the new 7″ twist TJ’s barrels needed to shoot it…. Would those who expressed interest in this bullet either post here, or PM me so that we can approach Al about getting the tooling done and molds made…. I don’t think the usual Group Buy will work for us, as we don’t have 10 people…. Without that, the tooling cost is $200, which we can, of course, share…. Please note, this bullet is 102 gr., not 100 gr….

This bullet is critical to my .257 Monocoque PCP project, so if you have any interest, please post in this thread…. I’m in, obviously….  ::)

Can it be done with a Lyman style HP pin in one cavity?….

Al said that the minimum Meplat for a Lyman style HP pin is 1/8″, so no HollowPoint, unfortunately…. Isn’t there anyone else who need this mold?….

I am making an appeal to any that want to try this bullet to PM me…. I need to get this going NOW as my .257 Monocoque PCP project, which is designed around this bullet and the 113 gr. is getting to the point I need some ammo to cut the chamber and test it…. The 7″ twist barrel needed to handle them is now available from TJ’s….

If you have any interest in getting a mould for this bullet, please contact me ASAP…. I am looking for guys to share the $200 cost of the tooling to make this bullet available….

Bottom of band changed to .246 for clearance
                    And weight corrected 101Gr.

Any chance this could be made in a HP version?…. It would be acceptable to push the Meplat back to a 0.125″ diameter in doing so…. I think it would expand the use of this bullet from just target work to long range Varmint hunting….
