Fine bullet that performs particularly well in my M17.

I’ve been shooting it at 300yrds with N120 and it holds the 10 ring if I do my part.

I have a Savage model 12 in .308 Win that I absolutely can not get to shoot cast. I have tried many molds and many powders and the results are nill. Molds I’ve tried include 311359, 311041, 311299, 311467, group buys of 311-150 and 311-165 from the CB site and 311365 from here. I’ve sized from .308 to .311 and even tried PC’ing all the mentioned molds. I’ve tried different alloys from 50-50 WW to range scrap to straight WW to WW plus Lino. Powders from fast to slow. Anyone have any suggestions that I may not have tried.

That’s a great question, probably worth it’s own thread.  With it’s own subject/title you would probably get more feedback.  :) :) :)

That’s a fine group. Nice looking heads too.

Do yuo fast or slow-pour the pointy-heads?

it was the last shot, I should have quit while I was ahead. :)

                          normal pour speed.
