Obviously I am very interested in seeing one as well…. I have been looking at a redesign to a shape more like the 34 gr. JSB King Heavy .25 cal which has proven so successful…. but with a Meplat nose to allow the nose pour required to create the hollow base using the RG system…. The nose is a hemisphere with the front cut flat, a modification I have tried on JSBs and it worked just fine…. and hits harder with less penetration than a full RN design….

I have sent this new drawing to Al, but since this thread started up I thought it might be appropriate to disclose it now and get some feedback…. The .25 cal design as per the drawing in the first post didn’t receive much good feedback, many felt that the head was too heavy…. so I responded with this much more conventional design…. Sometimes in the search for a breakthrough we must take two steps forward and then one step back…. I think and hope this new design will be what we are looking for in a heavy .30 cal pellet…. and it can be scaled to other calibers as well….

I would suggest that this thread be moved to the Air Rifle Section…. http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index.php/board,25.0.html

The RG Moulds come with three sets of base pins, so you can do all three weights with one mould….
