Ok the state of Texas last year started allowing hunting for whitetail with air rifles. I had the 135gr BBT but the state has a 150gr min. So I got the 155gr mold, I think it is now called 154. Using Rotometals 1:40 alloy my drop at 150.5gr. After getting the rifle dialed in with the new bullets I felt confident in taking a deer. With my bullet trajectory I determined 50yd min and a max of 100yds. To much hold under closer than 50yds. Beyond 100yds has to much hold over and power is falling off. So I sighted in for 75yds. I took a doe at 80yds from a tower blind. The bullet entered the neck and went thru the lung and heart, exiting the lower chest. She ran 40-50yds. I’m posting the target picture but not sure if it’s ok to post a picture of the doe.
