I was digging around in my pictures of targets today, and found a group I’d shot with my K31 using this bullet. I had an all Eagan line up one day! The MX2-30H, the MX3-30AR, and one I don’t see in the Eagan catalog, the MX3-30. I already had the K31 sighted in with the AR at 100yds, and it shot five into about 3/4″ at 100yds, going 2000fps, normal for it out of my K31. The MX2-30H bullet, that you’re thinking about, shot virtually the same group, just a bit to the right and higher. 3 touching, one 1/4″ higher, next another 1/4 higher. I’d post the pic, but the 3 touching are on a heavy black line and hard to make out. Now if I could just remember the load! I think I went for around 2200fps. The MX3-30, in shape, is a twin of the MX-3-30G, but it has more conventional lube grooves. Less bearing surface, it shot the worst of the three Eagan bullets, the group was 2.25″ tall x 1.25 wide. All that aside, here’s the nasty pic of the 5 shot group, all five are there!
